List the card families in use: 125 kHz proximity, MIFARE Classic, DESFire, HID. A sample of each is enough for us to confirm the format.

Set the UID letter case, byte order and number base so xSERVA stores each card number exactly as your old system did.

Import the Holders
Bring across the holder list with card numbers. Every card resolves to one holder record from day one.

Run in Parallel
Mount UltraPASS readers door by door. Old and new cards work together while you check results.

Upgrade at Your Pace
Move sensitive doors to DESFire, face or palm vein first. Retire low-risk cards last, or never.

Migration Questions
Do I need to re-issue every card?
No. Cards keep working because readers read the same formats and card numbers can be matched to your old system. You choose which cards to upgrade and when.
Will there be downtime?
Doors are switched one at a time, so the rest of the site keeps working while each reader is installed.
What if I do not know what cards I have?
Send a sample or a photo. We identify the technology and confirm how xSERVA reads it before you commit.
Can I keep my old locks and turnstiles?
Usually yes. The reader relay is wired to the lock, turnstile or barrier you already have.
Can I add face or phone access later?
Yes. Credentials are added to the same holder record, so adding face, palm, phone or QR later does not disturb the cards.
