Every format that matters, in one panel

MIFARE Classic 1K and 4K, MIFARE DESFire EV1, EV2 and EV3, NTAG, HID iCLASS, HID Prox at 125 kHz, and EM4100 proximity — read by the same unit, at the same door, with no separate module bolted to the wall.

The UID is stored the way your old system stored it

Card numbers are the same bytes read three different ways by three different vendors. Letter case, byte order and number base are all configurable on the reader, so xSERVA can be told to produce exactly the string your legacy database holds. Point it at the old encoding and the existing cards match on day one.

Migrate one door at a time

Because the cards keep working, an UltraPASS panel can replace one reader on one door on a Tuesday afternoon without a cutover weekend, a re-badging exercise, or a period where two systems are both half-authoritative.

Enrol a card without leaving the console

Arm any reader from the xSERVA device page, walk to it, tap the card, and the UID lands on the holder record. No desktop encoder, no separate enrolment station, no typing a hex string off a label.

DESFire where assurance matters

MIFARE Classic and 125 kHz Prox are convenient and cloneable — that is simply true, and any vendor who tells you otherwise is selling something. DESFire with mutual authentication is the answer where the door justifies the card cost. The same reader handles both, so you can mix by door.

A guard against held cards

A configurable repeat-tap interval stops a card left resting on the reader from firing a burst of identical events and drowning the log.

Where this fits

Existing sites, large headcounts, contractors, and anywhere a physical badge is already policy.

Because every channel resolves to the same holder record, this does not have to be the only way in. A person can hold this alongside a card, a PIN and a plate, and the audit trail still reads as one identity.

Questions about nfc, mifare & hid cards

Will my existing MIFARE cards work?

In most cases yes. The reader handles MIFARE Classic and DESFire, and the UID format it produces — letter case, byte order and number base — is configurable to match what your previous system recorded, so existing card numbers line up without re-enrolment.

Do you support HID Prox and 125 kHz proximity cards?

Yes. HID iCLASS, HID Prox at 125 kHz and EM4100 proximity are all read by the same panel that reads 13.56 MHz MIFARE and NFC.

Are MIFARE Classic cards secure?

MIFARE Classic and 125 kHz Prox are convenient but well known to be cloneable. They are appropriate for low-consequence doors. For anything higher, use DESFire with mutual authentication, or pair the card with a PIN or a biometric — both are supported on the same reader, configured per door.

How do I enrol a new card?

Arm the reader from the device page in the console, tap the card at the panel, and the UID is captured and attached to the holder record. No separate encoder is needed.
