Access Control for Data Centres

xSERVA for data centres puts two-factor biometrics on the cage door, blocks anti-passback abuse, detects tailgating at every mantrap and keeps a defensible record of who touched which door and when.

The Problem

What Goes Wrong Without Smart Access Control

Proof of Who, Not What

Fingerprint or palm vein plus PIN proves the person, not just a valid badge.

Tailgating Through Mantraps

Computer vision counts bodies against credentials and alerts on a mismatch.

Audit Obligations

Every decision, enrolment and configuration change is attributed and kept, with the reason for each decision.

Questions

Questions from Data Centres

Can a door require two factors?

Yes. Pair a biometric with a card or PIN on nominated doors, such as face then PIN or card then PIN.

What is a duress credential?

A designated finger or PIN that opens the door as normal and silently raises an alarm on the console.

How are vendor visits controlled?

Issue a dynamic QR with a start and end time, bounded to specific doors. Revoke it from the console at any moment.
